The Shelter is happy to help you with an adoption on Tuesday through Sunday from 11am - 4pm.   Appointments can also be made for adoptions outside those hours by calling the shelter at 386-325-1587. 

We are closed to the public on Mondays for deep cleaning.

Special THANKS to ALL of the local groups who have held fundraisers for us recently.  Some of those are Crescent City Kennels and the Azalea Festival Bowling Tournament group/Palatka Bowl; Palatka's Papa John's, Viva! Italia Pizzeria, Tractor Supply and Big Lots, Bradley's Steak and Seafood,  The Guide Post, Atomic Tees, Barkin' Lot, First Coast Community Credit Union (FCCCU) and Employees; Matthews Fence and Dave's Tops & Trims for our new puppy play yard and signage, and FCCCU for sponsoring 2 adopt-a-thons with 50% of fee contributed by employees.  Also, Georgia-Pacific Employees, Water Management Employees, Seminole electric Employees, Downtown Blues in Palatka, the Cheyenne Saloon in East Palatka, Ice House in Bunnell, Crossroads Saloon north of Palatka, Chili's Palatka, TD Bank on Hwy 19 in Palatka, Crestwood Nursing Center, Harvey's Insurance Agency, Interlachen Eagles Lodge, PRC, NEFEC, Crescent City K of C, Bostwick Library, Bostwick Community Association, Middleton-Burney Elementary School, and so many other groups and individuals who are helping us with donations of food, money, medicine, cleaning supplies, etc.  If your group would like to sponsor a fundraiser for us, please call the shelter so we can help you promote your event. 

The members of the Putnam County School System help us all year long through a very generous payroll deduction program contributed to by their employees.  If your organization would like to start a payroll deduction program to benefit the Humane Society of Northeast Florida, please call 336-1238.
